Openreach Rolling Out a Full Fibre Network Across Ayrshire

Openreach is continuing to upgrade its network across Ayr and surrounding communities to expand access to Full Fibre broadband for residents and businesses. This work is being supported by Openreach, the UK Government and Scottish Government through the R100 and Project Gigabit programmes, and is being undertaken in collaboration with South Ayrshire Council.
Once completed, the upgraded network will provide homes and businesses with the opportunity to order gigabit-capable Full Fibre broadband through a choice of internet service providers operating on the Openreach network.
The works are expected to continue over the coming months.
Residents can check the availability of Full Fibre services and register for updates by visiting the Openreach website and searching their postcode.
By selecting the "Keep me informed" option, they will receive notification when the service becomes available in their area.
