This Banking Hub is operated by Cash Access UK; they provide alternative solutions to help communities continue to have access to cash and essential banking services when traditional bank branches are no longer available.
Banking Hub opening hours
The hub is open Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm.
Counter services
The counter service within the hub is operated by the Post Office (only monetary transactions). Regardless of which bank you use, you can access the counter service on any weekday.
Services include:
- Depositing cash and cheques
- Withdrawing cash (subject to the daily withdrawal limit set by your bank)
- Checking your balance
- Paying utility bills
- Business banking services
- Change-giving services for registered businesses
They can also accept coin, provided it is presented in as many full bags as possible.
You can access cash from any UK bank, any day of the week, although some restrictions may apply to certain online-only banking providers, where you can pick the denomination of the notes or coin you wish to withdraw.
Community Bankers
As well as the counter service, the Banking Hub provides access to Community Bankers. These are representatives from individual banks who are based within the hub on their allocated days and can help with more complex banking matters that cannot be dealt with at the counter.

- Barclays Monday 9 am-5 pm
- Bank of Scotland Wednesday 9 am-5 pm
- TSB Thursday 9 am-5 pm
- Royal Bank of Scotland Friday 9 am-5 pm
A service for the whole community
The Banking Hub is there for everyone, regardless of which bank you use, and they want to ensure that local residents, community groups and businesses are aware of the services available.
They also operate Banking Hubs locally in Newton Stewart, Kirkcudbright, Troon, Kilwinning and Cumnock, with the same counter service available, although the Community Bankers represented at each location vary.
There are now 250 Banking Hubs open across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, helping communities maintain access to essential cash and banking services.
