What You’ll Learn

Across 8 friendly, practical sessions, we’ll cover the key areas you need for the theory test:

  • Hazard awareness – spotting dangers early and knowing how to react
  • Rules of the road – the Highway Code made simple
  • Road traffic signs – what they really mean (not just guessing the shapes!)
  • Motorway rules – from speed limits to safe lane changes

Everything is explained in clear, easy-to-follow language, with plenty of time to ask questions.

An information session about the course takes place on Wednesday 21st January 2026, 1pm - 2.30pm in Dailly Community Hall.

Extra Support That Could Save You Money

Here’s the really exciting bit:

A selection of successful learners will receive help with the cost of their provisional licence, driving theory test and support with the cost of driving lessons.

So not only are you building the knowledge to pass, you could also get financial help towards actually getting on the road.

If the cost of learning to drive has been holding you back, this is a great opportunity to take that first step.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is perfect if:

  • You’re planning to sit your driving theory test soon
  • You’ve tried before and want a bit more support and structure
  • Reading the Highway Code on your own feels overwhelming
  • You’d like to learn in a small, supportive group close to home
  • You’re keen to become more independent for work, study or family

You don’t need any previous experience, just an interest in learning and turning up each week.
