Ayrshire Voices For Nature: Communities & Conservation

21st March 2026, 11 am - 3 pm The Carrick Centre, Maybole

Ayrshire Voices For Nature flyer creative

You are warmly invited to join the Galloway & Southern Ayrshire Partnership for a day of constructive discussion around the theme of Ayrshire Voices for Nature at the Carrick Centre in Maybole on 21st March 2026.

Part of the Red Squirrel Recovery Network suite of events delivered by the GSA Biosphere Partnership, this alternative conference aims to enable all voices to be expressed: public, agencies, charities, community groups - whoever is interested in the state and fate of nature in our corner of southwest Scotland.

Using the World Café method (a structured conversation format that encourages open discussion, supports communication from multiple perspectives and aims to bring collective wisdom to the surface) we will explore the topic of nature conservation and community engagement in a spirit of conviviality and mutual respect.

We seek to connect a fantastic mix of specialisms, experience and on-the-ground folks – and through this intersection of different experiences and perspectives of nature and conservation, we hope to foster a wider and deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges for community engagement.

Join us on 21st March 2026 from 11 am to 3.00 pm.

Carrick Centre, Maybole. Lunch provided.

Free event open to all, booking via Eventbrite is essential, which you can do via the button below.
