GRANTS FOR NEW FIRE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

South Ayrshire does not have a Care and Repair service like other areas because the Council withdrew funding for it, and it had to close.

However, the manager for East Ayrshire has agreed to cover applicants from South Ayrshire.

To qualify for financial support, applicants must own their home, be in Council Tax Bands A-C, and be in receipt of either ESA or Guaranteed Pension Credit.
