Don’t forget that Scottish Power Renewables have an online consultation event for the Proposed Carrick Wind Farm.
This is on their website until 4 November: www.scottishpowerrenewables.com/carrickwindfarm
For your information, there are a number of wind farms being proposed in the area:
Craiginmoddie – 16 turbines, tip height up to 230m – behind Dobbingstone and on Craiginmoddie
Carrick – 13 turbines (reduced from 17) including battery storage, tip height up to 200m – east of Barr including the Pilot and Eldrick Hill
Clauchrie – 18 turbines, tip height up to 200m – south of Barr towards Barrhill, south side of Stinchar Valley over the ridge
Knockodhar – 32 turbines, tip height up to 200m – on the south side of Stinchar Valley
Kirk Hill has also been approved on appeal for 8 turbines, 115.5m tip height – west of High Newlands, north side of Water of Girvan.
