B741 Carriageway Patching Diversion Plan

Carriageway patching works have been programmed to be carried out at the above as shown on the plan attached, affecting B741 Girvan – Dailly.

Works are scheduled to begin on Monday 2nd March 2020 and are anticipated to last for three weeks however should advice that the work is weather dependent, unforeseen difficulties could result in delay.

Intended working hours will be 0930-1530 each day, howeverevery effort will be made to minimise this disruption where possible.

works will take place under a road closure with signed diversion route.

Advance warning signs are now in place on site.

Due to the uncertain road condition once the surface layer is removed, it may be required to operate temporary traffic signals outwith the closure times to safeguard the excavated area and to ensure safe passage of all vehicles.

Access to properties will be maintained via a diversion route incorporating the A77, B734, B741 Linfern Road, Dailly and B741 in both directions.

Emergency services will be notified and as always, will be unrestricted in their access.
